Starting next week, a series of online subject workshops will kick off, dedicated to assisting kaiako in getting acquainted with the new Level 1 NCEA materials, with a specific focus on New Zealand Curriculum subjects. These workshops, primarily led by NCEA Implementation Facilitators, are designed to boost the confidence of kaiako and middle leaders in crafting cohesive and inclusive teaching and learning programs for Level 1 in 2024. The sessions will cover essential areas, including an overview of NCEA changes, a deep dive into learning matrices, and an introduction to the valuable resources available on the NCEA website.
