There is a new (short-term) update focused on NCEA Level 1 implementation in production

Alongside NZQA, the Sector Engagement team is co-ordinating this new channel to be sent direct to all secondary school and kura principals and principal’s nominees. Content has a sole focus on implementation support and information for NCEA Level 1.

The first edition was distributed direct to principals and principal’s nominees recently.

The MoE will be actively looking for subscribers from teachers in all secondary schools and kura. The MoE envisage distribution around every two weeks through to the start of Term 1, 2024.

• This update will support the monthly Te Poutāhū School Curriculum Update and related release timeframes.
• The ‘NCEA Update’ will focus on time-bound messages relevant to each time-period between issues (ie, the relevant two-week period).
