Educators and those involved with gifted learners are now presented with an opportunity to apply for the Awards for Gifted Learners, which aim to support gifted students in their educational journey and pursuit of their interests. These awards are open to gifted learners from early education up to the school leaving age and can offer financial support of up to $2,500 for an individual or up to $5,000 for a group of students. The application deadline is set for 9 October.

Additionally, there are Awards for Teachers of Gifted Learners available for educators currently working in early learning, primary, or secondary schools. These awards provide funding of up to $2,500 for an individual teacher or up to $6,000 for a group of teachers to enhance their skills in supporting gifted learners. Applications will be open from 2 October to 5 November.
