In the first half of the year TENZ ran the Brendon Jaine design a glass pendant competition. The judging is in and we are able to announce the winners of each age category!
Buzz and Anna from Brendon Jaine Jewellery were blown away by the quality of the designs and the thoughtful links to local environments.
Each winner receives a $50 voucher from TENZ and the overall winner is getting their design made into a couple of glass pendants by Buzz for the students and their teacher to keep!
The age category winners are:
Year 2 to 5 – Maanvir Chawla (Papatoetoe Central School, Teacher: Tanya Bonniface) Blue
Year 6 to 8 – Mishika Chawla (Year 7, Papatoetoe Intermediate, Teacher: Maddy Cooke) Green
Year 9 to 10 – Emma Wong Too (Spotswood College, Teacher: Claire Wigley)
Year 11 to 13 – Mika McMillan (Burnside High school, Teacher: Toni Maddaford)
Huge congratulations to the overall winner with their design being made into a glass pendant by Buzz…
Emma Wong Too, Spotswood College.
