Presenters are responsible for their own materials and set-up on display boards and tables. Please clearly indicate the presentation needs of your poster/display. Wellington East Girls College is located in the Mount Victoria district in Wellington.
Bus, train, and Ferry: Metlink - Public Transport

In central Wellington you’re rarely more than 30 minutes’ walk from most locations.

Wellington buses (including those from the airport and railway station) have a few stops less than 10 minutes walk to Wellington East Girls' College.

If coming from the Airport, stop just after passing through the Hataitai Bus Tunnel.

From Wellington Railway Station we would recommend transferring to a bus, taxi, or other transport. If you would prefer to walk, it will be roughly a 50-60 min walk.

You can use ridesharing companies throughout Wellington to get to where you need to go. Options include OLA, UBER, & Zoomy

Wellington Combined Taxis have stands in a number of locations around the city. They will often be waiting outside the airport.

If coming from outside of the city, if you follow State Highway 1 into the city you'll reach Wellington East Girls' High.

If you get the opportunity to stay in the capital city a few days before or after the conference, here are a few exciting things you can explore.

Every 10 minutes, the historical bright red Wellington Cable Car departs from Lambton Quay and makes its way up into the hills of Kelburn.
On the five-minute journey upwards, the Cable Car rises 120m over a length of 612m, travelling through tunnels and offering spectacular views of the city below.
A milestone in engineering when it opened over 100 years ago, the Wellington Cable Car is New Zealand’s only remaining funicular railway.
