Join us for our Introduction to Rāranga – Harakeke Weaving webinar.
Hear about harakeke, one of Aotearoa’s taonga and its relevance in the classroom. Sonia Lucchese from BetSo Weaving will provide basic tīkanga to observe when harvesting and weaving with harakeke, and a variety of finished products to show the versatility of the plant. The use of harakeke in our classroom links directly to the curriculum. This is an introductory session that includes mahi for Primary, High School and Tertiary kaiako. It will spark up your creativity!
