AcademyEX – The Mind Lab, postgraduate training provider, NZQA level 1A, was founded in 2013, over 4000 through our Postgraduate Certificate in Digital and Collaborative Learning (DCL), the focus of this programme is 4 areas Contemporary Skills, Changing the Pedagogy of Teaching, Leadership and Collaboration, DCL is the first third of our Master of Contemporary Education (MCE), the main focus of this Masters is a Change Project of your choice, could be your work focus your passion, it’s up to you.
Please note for those who have completed our Postgraduate Certificate in Digital and Collaborative Learning, we have an intake in January 2026 for our Master of Contemporary Education, starting at part 2, the scholarship applications close on the 1st December 2025.

Funding ideas
- We have created a handy template to use (Master of Contemporary Education) or template for Postgraduate Certificate in Digital and Collaborative Learning), to approach your work or any groups and associations your part of for support.

- Early bird discount – There is an Early Bird discount of 10% off the course fees for domestic students who apply 4 weeks before the start date of an intake.
- External funding (may well be expired but may give you ideas what’s out there)
