Inequities in the attainment of University Entrance (UE) have been a persistent issue in Aotearoa. But recent research offers some solutions. This webinar shares findings from the study Poipoia kia puāwai: How schools support ākonga Māori and Pacific students to attain University Entrance. The research involved six schools at which UE attainment for Māori and Pacific students was at least 10 percent higher than their EQI band average. Learn about the conditions and initiatives that underpinned these schools’ efforts to support high UE attainment for ākonga Māori and Pacific students.
