Recycling Week
October 20, 2025 – October 26, 2025
Recycling Week is a free annual campaign designed to inspire Kiwis to reduce waste and recycle more effectively. Throughout the week, organisations (including schools, businesses, and corporates of all sizes) across New Zealand take part in a variety of activities and educational campaigns. These initiatives aim to raise awareness both within their organisations and in the wider community, promoting responsible recycling and waste minimisation for a cleaner, more sustainable future for New Zealand.
Launched in 2013, Recycling Week continues to grow year on year, with record numbers of organisations registering in 2024.
