Aim of the resource

TENZ is committed to developing and sharing educational resources that support Technology education across Aotearoa New Zealand. This particular resource has been developed with support from Forest & Bird and Kiwi Conservation Club (KCC) and aims to support educators with the following concepts:

• Design inspired by the environment
• Local curriculum links
• Showcasing NZ companies & resources
• Skills & knowledge in materials & processes
• Links to nature of Aotearoa

Many aspects of NZC Technology can be taught with this resource including, but not limited to, technological practice & the design process including creating designs for a purpose,  planning for practice and kitchen skill techniques .
