Registrations for ShadowTech Teachers now open

ShadowTech Teachers is an innovative programme to ensure teachers have the knowledge to guide ākonga into tech careers.
The 2022 ShadowTech Teachers programme will connect up to 200 secondary school teachers and career advisors from New Zealand schools with high proportions of Pacific learners to the technology sector.
Through a hands-on half day of shadowing a tech professional in their work environment, teachers will gain insight into the jobs that exist within the technology industry and will be armed with real-life knowledge on how they can support students to pursue tech careers.
New to the programme in 2022, ShadowTech Teachers will incorporate a mentoring component to enable an on-going relationship between teachers and the tech professionals they shadowed.
